About Membership

Laurelwood Cabana Club is a community-based, membership club, in the heart of Santa Clara. Our members are families and individuals living in and around Santa Clara, Sunnyvale, Cupertino, San Jose, and beyond. Since 1961, we have offered quality swimming and water safety education for the entire family. We invite you to explore our offerings and become part of the Laurelwood Cabana Club family!

Who Can Join?

Membership is open to any family or individual, regardless of address. While membership is open to anyone, if you own a Proprietary address in the neighborhood, you may join at any time and without the required administrative fee. To check your address, please click here.

Who is included in a Membership?

Membership applies to all family members living together in one household. Membership does not apply to extended family or friends. Please Note: We do not offer discounts for individuals, trial or prorated memberships.

What is included in Membership?

Your membership gives you access to the Club from March - mid-February from 5am-9pm daily. Access is by key card, eliminating the need for staff to check you in. Extra keys may be purchased for a small fee. Programs, lessons, parties, and select events incur additional fees.

What We Offer

Our six-lane, outdoor, heated lap pool is open daily from March through mid-February. The wading pool is only heated during the summer months.

• Lap Swim by Reservation: book your private lane up to a week in advance. Bookings and cancellations are online.
• Open Swim - daily open swim hours every afternoon and on weekends. Drop-in lap swim may be offered during this time. Lifeguards will be on duty every day of the summer and on weekends for Spring and Fall.
• Swim Programs for kids, ages 5-17. Additional fees apply:
• Dolphins Swim Team: Our largest program, featuring professionally coached swim practices. Includes many social events and semi-competitive meets as part of the JSSL. Runs April through mid-July. Parent volunteering is required.
• Spring Swim: a 6 week, pre-season conditioning program to prepare for swim team. March - mid-April.
• Fall Swim: postseason swim conditioning and introduction to water polo. A 9-week program from mid-August - Oct.
• Winter Swim: a continuation of swim conditioning and water polo skills offered over two 6-week sessions. Session 1 Nov - Dec; Session 2 Jan - Feb.
• Private Swim Lessons 30 min private lessons tailored to your needs for both children and adults. Lessons can be booked online for summer, by mutual arrangement otherwise.
• Pool Parties Book your birthday party, team party or family reunion at the pool. Invite guests and have dedicated lifeguards for your event. Additional fees apply.
• Monthly Socials Join us for our annual season-opening BBQ, Movie Nights, potlucks, Chili Cook-Off, End of Season luau and more!
• Guest Passes During the summer, bring non-member friends and family for a small fee. Guests are welcome during life-guarded hours only.
• Amenities Enjoy updated bathrooms, changing rooms, hot showers (indoor and out), outdoor kitchen with refrigerator, sink, two propane grills, and new deck furniture.
• Relaxation Foosball, ping pong, giant Connect Four, lounge chairs, umbrella picnic tables, a large lawn with shade trees and more to keep the whole family entertained.

☀‍️ Annual Membership ☀‍️

Annual Membership dues for 2025 are $1,200.00. An additional $100.00 administrative fee applies for new and lapsed members (not a member in the previous calendar year).

Annual Membership season March 8, 2025 to February 15, 2026.

Our Annual Membership will offer dedicated lap swim, family swim, private lessons, Spring Swim, Swim Team, and Fall Swim kids' program.

❄‍️ 2024-2025 Winter Memberships ❄‍️

The 2024-2025 Winter Membership fee is $450.00. An additional $100.00 administrative fee applies for new and lapsed members (not a member in the previous calendar year).

The winter season runs November 1, 2024 to February 22, 2025.

Our Winter Season will offer dedicated lap swim, family swim, private lessons, and the Winter Swim kids program.

Lap Swim: Hours are generally early morning, mid-day, and evening during the week; all day on the weekends.

Family Swim: Hours will be offered on the weekends.

Winter Swim: The kids’ program will run weekday afternoons, after school hours. The Winter Swim program, geared toward children ages 5-17, will be offered at an additional fee of $290.00 per swimmer for a 6-week session, Session 1: Nov. – Dec and Session 2: Jan - Feb. An option for a 4-day practice week will be available for an additional fee.
