2010 Swim Lessons

Welcome to Laurelwood Cabana Club group swim lessons. Lessons are offered to the non-swimmer and to the intermediate swimmer who will be introduced to competitive strokes. A brief description of level requirements is available on the bulletin board. After completing level 4 we recommend joining the swim team. Group lessons are geared for children 4 and above. For younger swimmers, we recommend private lessons for the attention and instruction they require.

All children will be quickly tested the first day to confirm their ability. Depending on this test and how quickly your child learns they may be moved to a different lesson level.

If a swimmer is unable to participate independently in class after the 2nd day of lessons, an instructor can be recommended for individual instruction and a refund issued. There will be no refunds after two lessons.

Class sizes are kept to approximately 5 students per instructor depending on class level. All lead instructors are life guard certified, had prior teaching experi- ence and/or gone through training to become an instructor. Each class time will have multiple classes and levels. The swim lesson session includes 8 half an hour lessons Monday-Thursday for a two week period.

The lesson prices and class ratio are designed to provide the best possible lessons at a reasonable rate. It is our goal to run lessons as a member benefit while keeping good quality.

Group swim lesson fee $65.00 for a members and $85.00 for non-members

• Sessions are for 2 weeks - Monday through Thursday (8 classes total)
• Swim lessons are half-hour classes
• Morning classes are 10:15am, 10:45am & 11:15am
• Evening class is at 7:30pm
